Current initiatives: Housing advocacy, mentoring programs in adult and juvenile prisons, education equity programs, sports camps, church community partnerships, health/wellness education. Frank Murphy

Founder, CCS Plan Legacy Institute

Former NFL great, AFPI,Chairman of Athletes for America,National speaker, Author and Athletic life coach.

Frank D Murphy’s life story details his journey from juvenile incarceration to the NFL. After getting a second chance through NFL Super Bowl-winning coach Tony Dungy,Frank successfully became a star player in the NFL. Frank won the Heisman Trophy in junior college at Garden City community college
where he was also introduced into the junior college Hall of Fame. Frank is also the NJCAA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Vice Chairman Ambassador. He went on to Kansas State University and still holds 3 records including a 4.22 yard dash.

Frank played his professional career with the NFL and CFL teams, such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, and the Miami Dolphins. Following a successful football career, Murphy founded a Charity called The CCS Plan Legacy Institute Inc. CCS stands for Churches,Communities and Schools. Including winning the Hero Award from the Tampa Bay Lightning, and he is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and also won the Most Valuable Philanthropist in Sports Award. Frank was rewarded the diploma Doctorate In Humanitarianism. Murphy is the bestselling author of The Man Behind The Helmet book, “God of second chances” This book is Forwarded by Hall of Fame Coach Tony Dungy. Frank new book call “The Secret Playbook”from the jail cell to the NFL”. This book is forwarded by the great Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz.

Jon Woodward

Executive Director, CCS Plan Legacy Institute

Jon Woodward has dedicated over 25 years to transforming lives through innovative mental health and social service programs. His career reflects a deep commitment to bridging critical gaps in care and building sustainable systems that empower troubled youth, families, and vulnerable populations to achieve stability, dignity, and independence.

Woodward earned a Master’s degree as an Educateur—a specialized psychoeducational framework derived from French “teacher of life skills” methodology specifically designed for working with troubled and troubling youth. This unique training equipped him with strengths-based, community-integrated approaches that became the foundation of his leadership philosophy.

Throughout his career, Woodward has provided therapy for at-risk children and families, supervised multidisciplinary teams treating over 100 families, and developed comprehensive programs addressing the complex needs of youth experiencing behavioral challenges, mental health crises, and family instability. His work has consistently focused on creating wraparound services that support both young people and their families through evidence-based interventions and community partnerships.

As a nonprofit CEO for seven years, Woodward demonstrated exceptional ability to define organizational vision and build sustainable programs. He implemented innovative service delivery systems that combined mental health support, case management, and life skills development for diverse populations.

His innovative work earned him the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award from Walmart, recognizing his groundbreaking partnerships within the nonprofit and business communities and his advocacy for individuals and families in crisis.

Since 2022, Woodward has served as Executive Director of CCS Plan Legacy Institute, where he continues to advance mental health and social service initiatives that transform communities. His leadership philosophy emphasizes unconditional commitment to those served, collaborative decision making, and strength-based programming that builds on community assets.

Rosalind Walker-Allen

Director of Events, CCS Plan Legacy Institute

Rosalind is the owner of 2nd Chance Events and Rental.

With over 30 years of experience in event management, Rosalind leads high-impact conferences, corporate meetings, and large-scale experiences that elevate brand visibility.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and innovative event strategies, Rosalind specializes in vendor management, program design, logistics oversight, and team leadership.

Throughout her career, Rosalind has directed events for nonprofit, corporate companies , and personal clients, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences and measurable business results.

Rosalind serves as the Director of Events at Mentoring With Purpose Inc., CCS Plan Legacy Institute since its inception.

Debbie Prescott

Advisory Board Chairperson, CCS Plan Legacy Institute

Deb Prescott is the President & CEO of the Temple Terrace Uptown Chamber of Commerce and a passionate champion for local business, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership. Her background in community development and small business start up led her to leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity and the Florida Prosperity Partnership, Deb brings both academic insight and real-world experience to her work. Known for her energetic and action-oriented leadership, she has led initiatives that have helped individuals and businesses thrive, even in very challenging times.

Deb’s visionary approach earned her an invitation to The White House to engage with Michelle Obama’s higher education task force. She also spearheaded the launch of the Leadership & Innovation program, uniting over 150 regional organizations to foster impactful partnerships and forward-thinking business practices. Her inspiration for the program’s retreat—hosted in Fort Myers, Florida—draws from the idea of looking back at history to appreciate the creativity, hard work, and trust that drive progress.

A connector at heart, Deb is committed to empowering businesses and advancing economic growth in the University Area and beyond. She has been married for 31 years and is the proud mom of two adult children, with a personal and professional life grounded in service and community-building.

Shawn T. Brown is a purpose-driven entrepreneur, consultant, and community leader with over 25 years of experience in commissioned sales, leadership development, and business growth. He is the Founder and CEO of Brown Financial Group (BFG), a diversified organization with specialized divisions including Brown & Brown Insurance Agency, a Goosehead Insurance franchise; Empact Health Consulting, a leadership and culture transformation firm; and
Unstuck, his keynote speaking and sales training platform designed to help individuals and teams break through barriers and reach new levels of success.

Shawn holds a , as well as a, blending academic excellence with decades of
real-world experience in business, leadership, and organizational strategy. His professional approach centers on empowering others through faith, empathy, and execution turning purpose into performance across every platform he leads.

Beyond business, Shawn is deeply engaged in community advancement. He serves as Chairman of the Board for CCS Plan Legacy Institute (formerly Mentoring With Purpose), founded by former NFL player Frank D. Murphy. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with expansion in Atlanta, Georgia, the organization connects Churches, Communities, and Schools (CCS) to mentor youth, strengthen families, and build future leaders.
